Because as soon as something becomes "optional" it means that you have 2 different hardware sets, and you have to make your game work on the most popular/cheapest, as it will probably be this that will sell more.inolen wrote:This is what I was told.. tad different. So, that means that games wont use the harddrive for anything smart, only for optional game saves and downloads.
Take a look how Doom 3 works on the xbox, its only possible because of the harddrive.
