It's AIM vs. AIM. No camping, no timing, no powerups, no pussies. I have beat them in regular 1v1 as well, easily.
Their native game is Rocket Arena, though. They all are better in RA3 than in VQ3 or osp, two mods that only weaklings play.
ra3 is a lot more than aim vs. aim
it's more like combat vs. combat
and if you think that osp 1on1dm is a mod that only weaklings play, you're sorely mistaken.

Well, it is.
Q3 code has lines of Q2 and Q1 code in it. Half-Life 2 is a mod of Q1.

They're showing forrtage of quake 1 MP. Do you know, it looks so much better than I remember it. The movement is fast. I think it looks even better than quake 2. It looks much more like Q3. And the rocket jumping, I didn't know it had that. I only ever played the SP and never knew anything about rocket jumping or strafejumping.

Have you not seen Frags Done Extreme II? If not, see it. Shows Quake in a very good way. Both movement and frags. One of the best gaming movies to date, and it's old now. I'm sure own-age.com has it.

I'll check it netrex. Btw, apparently what I'm seeing isn't quite original quake1 as such, but modded with changed art work,etc. Is that right? Looks amazing though, I'd play quake1 over quake2 again any day.
