I think I could do that, if I had them somewhere... I mean, who cares now, it wasen't like I started yeasterday... I don't think anyone would have a problem posting thier first attempts here in this forum to be honest.

Edit: Actually I found my first HL attempt i did, but then I had been 'trial and erroring' for Quake for two years before...

tbh it's the people who post far too many screens that bug me. "look, here's a wall! and look, a corridor! and look, the same corridor from the other end! and here's the door into the corridor! and here's a patch of R34LLY 1337 coloured lighting i did! and here it is again because it was so 1337 the last time! and here's some props you've already seen a gajillion times! and here they are again! and again! and again!"

Does this make you feel good about yourself or something? Otherwise I don't see why these kind of threads always get so many posts.

I think people see a chance to spam and just write shit they normaly woulden't in a thread about a map that actually looked good.

i am guilty of doing exactly what that poor fella did.

many here probably are too.
