Ahh yes, THAT bit... It caught me by surprise as well... Its how loud the glass smash is, it just get ya every tim. Even when you know its gonna happen, it still gets you.

lol i remember playing this so long ago, and i really wasnt expecting the dogs, almost shit myself
lol yeah that dogs through glass probably got every gamer that played resi evil 1 for the first time. It mostly has to do with the auditory intensity like odium pointed out.

That's right where I stopped playing, once I beat the big boat part, couldnt' find where to go next and got bored as hell with it. Guess I'll install it again though.
hl2 was even worse...shit, I could run through an entire level holding soda cans without ever getting hit by fireguns...can you say cheap ass piece of shit game?
frankly i think this game is pretty fucking awesome. the AI is a bit dopey but other than that it rocks. am up to the bit just before you (apparently) go mano a mano with crow, on the ship. great fun
Guess I'll install it again though.
