If you set the default font color in your preferences (under Text Conversations) does it not remember the settings?

nope. the preview box shows me a red text but in the messagewindows its always black. i have to manually set it everytime a new message window pops up

sometimes it even resets during a conversation

I Trillian, been using it since the early days. Granted in the latest pro version, you have to set each window manually to the correct size (each users window) before it remembers it :icon6: , it's all a big clusterfuck before you manage to set it right. Also the names use to change, for instance msn members it would at times display their away msg instead of their name, but I think I checked something in the menu and it's fixed.

It takes some heavy configuring in the big setup menu, but when you get it going right it's pretty good. =o

Don't use any though, just the vanilla trillian install. It feels a bit 'bloated' as it is from the get go, and once I had a good 10 plugins installed and it felt somewhat sluggish.

I don't use that many either, although the POP3, World Time and RSS News plugins are handy
