Get bigger pots, or you'll kill the plants.

Still too small I think, get something a bit bigger. The bigger the better, the roots require a lot of soil.

thats better, they will be ok in those pots for awhile. if they really start rocking you could transplant them into something like a 14" pot.

If you live in a rual area, you might want to move them inside when they start to blossom. The smell is powerful and very noticable.

putting them on my roof is an option if the smell is really powerful.

Also when you replant them, never clear off the soil off the roots or you will cause damage and be gentle to the stem if you break it your fuct.

It seems to me that it'd be bad for the plant to move it inside after acclimating to the sun light. is that true?

I don't know what you can do if you damage the roots or the stem, but this can kill the plant. Handle it by the leaves next time and avoid touching the stem or roots cause the leaves can grow back.

They should be fine if you stick them inside and put some high output fluorescents over em.

Still time to grow some.
A few years ago I gave to a friend of mine
a full 35MM film boxe of seeds.
A few months after, he harvested 2 green bags.
He didn't even had to take care of it, they were in a type of
Disney World like swamp.

I'm an expert on growing tomatoes. Can marijuana grow up a string? Since they're potted, make sure you're rotating the pot every week to ensure the leaves are getting nominal sun coverage.
There is definitely more marijuana in the vicinity you found those plants in. It's likely that someone (Gathering from how you described finding them) planted them there so that they would not be located on their property. It seems it would be far less trouble to scatter a crop in a natural environment and document the locations with a portable GPS device.
The United States Government actually uses sophisticated imaging applications to scan for crops of marijuana both during standard sweeps over areas in airplanes, and when they're analyzing photos from the planes, as well as satellite data.
