The trouble with japan is that so many people live in, or just outside the major cities, you live in the countryside and its chilled as fuck - ie. boring.
The one thing that fucks tokyo is a lack of greenery, there are a few decent parks, but apart from that every tiny space that can be built on, has been built on.
As somewhere to visit, fucking great place, some great historic shit, loads of weird shit that you see online, good nightlife, great pussy, good shopping.
I dont find it that pricey, but i have the luxury of being able to drink at home, eat at home and stay at home - i think it would be a kinda expensive vacation.
Sounds like a trip I'll definitely be making in the next few years.

the transport is easy, trains are easy to work out and u can buy an english language train guide.

ive lived here for 4yrs, i havent bothered learning the language, certainly cant read it and i drive/train all over the place.
