I think i solved my problem,

House rules

if you pee on it, please wipe it up
If you eat on it, please wash it
if you mess it up please clean it up

is first thing they see when they turn on the TV :icon14:

subtle hint so when I get home I don't have to deal with a mess

i'm the same as horton on this one -- often mates will crash here after partying all night, my parents don't mind since they're asleep when we get home and leave before we get up, and everyone who crashes here knows that they clean thier shit up or they don't come over again. It's a win-win-win situation all round.

i live with my parents! that's hilarious!!

actually, the situation isn't that much different -- we have quite a large house, so I'm the only one who uses the lower storey. I make sure it's kept clean, and the sound doesn't carry through the house to where the main bedroom is so they don't get woken up. My parents both work full time and go to bed early, so I only deal with them in the afternoons.

It's more of a co-occupant situation than I think you assume.

I fucking wish. She moved out in may, it's just me and my mate here now. I bought some more paper plates this afternoon because I can't fit any more shit in the sink. I need a woman here.
havent you got any poor mates, who would move and clean shit in return for free rent or something?

I had a japanese kid who stayed at my place back in UK, he cleaned, bought me the occasional take-away and made sure there was always something to smoke, in return for somewhere to live.

they're cleaning up after themselves because it's your folk's place, and not yours. you'll see.

if there are only 3 nights left and theyve been there for 3 weeks, it might be best to just let it pass.

maybe if youre really tired tomorrow or something while youre cleaning up in front of them ask if they can help you? that might be a better way to do it IMO.

lol, you hom0s. Out of graciousness for letting me crash at his place, I puked onto GKYs plants, buttfucked his roommate and shat on his bed (as a special parting-gift).

Yeah that's what I am going to do, I've also been working late the last few days... catching up ;) so it's relieved some of my stress.

At this point it's really not worth it, After last night they know I am pissed. Tomorrow is their last day, and they have lost their welcome. My wife cleaned everything up which got me more pissed.
