I don't work directly for the general contract. They are the ones who control the other trades. Outside of sending countess letters and having mulitiple meetings telling them that they're falling behind, there's nothing I can do but listen to them bitch when the project isn't done.

What's so funny?

I don't personally fire the feild staff. There's usually a discussion that happens between myself and the superintendent about the employee in question. Upon my approval the superintendent terminates the employee in question. That's just how it works.

Now if a superintendent has to be let go, either myself or the senior project manager will terminate them.
