she gets a ton of money for the books, but its not like she is getting the bulk of profit from every sale.
if she got 5% of the sales she would be lucky

I'm kind of suprised terry pratchetts 'discworld' books didn't make it bigger. Apart from 3 games, no movie from it. And that's all about wizardry too.

Interesting fact: My friend's friend works as an editor for Scholastic in NYC. When she's editing the book, they lock her in a safe with an armed guard. No joke.
