I liked ABC also but it doesn't fully exit, when you quit.

Aye, best damn OS X BT client ever. FOr Windows, its Azureus or nothing. The fact you won't install java because of the potential for a virus is saddening, especially for someone using a browser based on the IE core, the king of swiss cheese security.
Its not just the virii thing, i just really really dislike java.. i always have..
SOAP, I'll agree with you here. I'm not a fan of java and never have been. That said, azureus works fine for me, but only because I use it sporadically while at work. Sometimes it seems to be a memory hog and sometimes I forget it's even running. It all depends on what else I'm running at the time.

someone explain the azureus/virus thing to me? how does it get a virus onto your computer?
i use to use it but i didnt like how it seemed more bloated than need be. i dont know if thats true or not but i just wanted something simple. plus the program kept disappearing on me which was very odd. it would be running just fine and then all of a sudden...vamoosh..its gone. wasnt even in the task manager.
i use bittornado now and like it quite a bit.

I have found a few virii from Java, well Norton Corp. Ed. found them. Java to me is ok, not a fan of it, but I try and only use it with things that I am fairlyu certain do not have virii, as you can see thou that doesn't always happen.

Its not Azureus, its Java in general.. and not everyone has issues, its just a few of us that are rather unlucky..
Id go back to Bit Tornado.. but no matter how i install it, it throws an error and never connects to trackers.. :-\

If you don't use the PC at all I'm pretty sure you won't get any viruses on it. Azureus > * and I've never had any virus problems of any kind. Stop downloading donkey porn.

I used ABC for a while, then tested Azureus and never went back. It's never acted up in any way. It's the eMule of BT I would say =)

ABC started to cause my PC to reboot after a few moments of downloading at high rates. Perhaps reinstalling the app would have taken care of the problem but once I saw BitComet, I didn't feel like giving ABC another try.
