For that type of game I guess, but try playing the xbox, ps2, gamecube with a N64 controller and imo those controllers are > N64's any day...

Remember the 007 game on the N64 controller, imo that made the best game on the system just suck bawls...

at the time it didnt feel "wrong" because nothing used 2 analogs really.. its just that were used to all the newer controllers, and we look back on that "caveman" technology and laugh.. :(

I used to love the n64 pad, but i also changed with the times... Now i cant leave the X-Box Pad.

I guess i'll have to get used to the controller-S now because the new xbox pad is a lot more like it. And god damn is the 360 pad sexy or what...

*laughs at the PS3 pad*

N64 controller? 'tis okay. I don't know anyone whose hand doesn't hurt after using the analog stick on the controller for extended periods of time though and that = no good.

True, reason I say all that is I fired up the n64 with a friend few days ago and we played 007 for hours..but god I hated that controller during the entire game.

The analog stick on the N64 got all crappy after some time though, especially if you started playing godforsaken Mario Party with it.

Well I don't classify Nintendo as a cheap company. Most of their stuff is quite sturdy. I dropped my gamecube once, not even a scratch. I dropped my Gameboy multiple times, still in fully working order and only some surface scratches on it's body.

I actually like the gamecube controller, while many people say it sucks. It's a decent size, fits well in the hand and it feels solid.
