Unless we get off our high and mighty horse, and take a long, introspective look at what conditions we are part of creating over there..conditions that lead to the hopelessness that gives rise to this type of extremism (i.e. having your house bulldozed by an Israeli bulldozer) we aren't going to get any closer to a REAL solution to the problem.
The Fox Network ensures this won't happen anytime soon.
Seriously....RiffRaff has always been clueless when it comes to politics. He clearly feels (like Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, O'Cunt, etc) that all of the world's problems are someone else's fault...mainly "the Libs". FFS...I heard a clip from Limbaugh the other day saying the Downing Street Memo was "just another one of these ginned up things by the Libs" and basically said it was fake.
RiffRaff wrote:Do those who can't think for themselves a favor and post the correct information. That's what's wrong with Lib's. They don't gather the facts but spew forth re-gurgitated information that someone has prepared for them.
PS. If you think O'Rielly includes fundamental Islamics in his reports, tell me what episode and I'll be happy to host the audio file. Else, please don't lead Liberal retards down the wrong path.
Fuckin hell you don't really pay attention. O'Cunt and the rest don't even regurgitate "information that someone has prepared for them."...they make it up as they go along. They make statements - knowingly - that are completely false and when someone questions them they either get their mike turned off or are blamed for being "Libs".
Don't lead the Libs down the wrong path? Are you fucking serious? People who blame Libs for the world's problems
STILL think Saddam was to blame for 9/11. Who's being lead down the wrong path?
You haven't learned a damned thing the last 5 years.

But remember, O'Reilly NEVER points to 'fundamentalist Islam' as the problem. And liberals never get their facts straight before they spew their shit...

A prime example of the 'making shit up' bit was hearing yesterday on Fox that it the London attacks were likely the work of Al-Zaqari's (spelling probably wrong) al qaeda cell in Iraq. How very convenient....there was a claim I believe by someone saying they represented that group, but it was quickly discounted AFAIK. Maybe it will turn out to actually be the work of that group... but I doubt it.

In a sense...I agree.
But in another sense...no.
Don't forget how much media attention was given to Clinton's indiscretions with that ugly shitbag Lewinski. If Clinton (ie the gumbment) were truly in control that whole waste of time would have been buried. But for some reason everyone was talking about how evil Clinton was. Now...the Downing Street Memo is non-news and nobody is talking about how evil Bush is.
And there's the difference.
I feel the MSM is effectively functioning as a branch of the Republican party...not just FoxNews.
Don't forget....when it comes to the media ownership, see where the money goes....and 90% of the time you'll end up with a Republican running it all.

Brit Hume always brings the funny:
(July 7, 2005)
SHEPARD SMITH: Some of the things you might expect to happen, for instance, a drop in the stock market and some degree of uncertainty across this country — none of that really seen today, and I wonder if the timing of it — that it happened in the middle of the night and we were able to get a sense of the grander scheme of things — wasn't helpful in all this.
BRIT HUME: Well, maybe. The other thing is, of course, people have — you know, the market was down. It was down yesterday, and you know, you may have had some bargain-hunting going on. I mean, my first thought when I heard — just on a personal basis, when I heard there had been this attack and I saw the futures this morning, which were really in the tank, I thought, "Hmmm, time to buy."
It sounds more like he was attempting cynicism and ended up making a callous gaffe. If you google his name, the only thing that people bitch about that pops up consistently is Hume misrepresented some FDR speech on social security back in February. Sure there are other things, but anytime anyone editorializes something, someone is going to disagree. I'm sure if one of us got on tv, we'd make the same 'mistakes', and we'd have our words scrutinized and our pictures photoshopped with little Hitler mustaches all over the internet too.

I didn't mean to suggest it was anything else. The question he answered was specifically about the impact of the attacks on markets...he just wasn't very artful with his reply.

Where did RiffRaff go?

Here's a nice little quote that sums up what I was trying to say -
From
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8524679/ (Experts worrying about an endless war on terror)
"Scheuer, who headed the CIA’s bin Laden unit for nine years, sees a different way out —
bthrough U.S. foreign policy. He said he resigned last November to expose the U.S. leadership’s “willful blindness” to what needs to be done: withdraw the U.S. military from the Mideast, end “unqualified support” for Israel, sever close ties to Arab oil-state “tyrannies.”
He acknowledged such actions aren’t likely soon, but said his longtime subject bin Laden will “make us bleed enough to get our attention.” Ultimately, he said, “his goal is to destroy the Arab monarchies.”"
***********************
Why is it that the far right can't see this?
That being said, RiffRaff still made an ass out of himself here.
