I ended up with 3 calc, 2 pre-calc and 2 chemistry textbooks, so I kept of of each and sold the rest... Made 200 bucks off them. Otherwise I keep everything

same here Dave.

I'm really enjoying the way Dostoevsky gives the reader a clear mental picture of his characters within a few pages of introducing them. It certainly has been helping me keep them in order, considering how many characters there are!

The Brothers Karamazov, Book II Chapter 3 wrote:

Someone must be taking a world lit class.

It's a very good read. Thinking about it.. a lot of the ideas are sort of applicable to our modern Red Vs Blue State mentality we've got going on in this country now.

Favorite chapter of philosophical musing (diatribe is to strong a word): chapter 10 is quite good (So Be It - So Be It).

not taking a world lit class, i just really love russian lit

Thus far, quite a few of the ideas parallel or at least can be modified to fit modern philosophy about current world affairs :icon14:

just saw a theatre production of it at Stratford (Ontario) this wknd. Awesome stuff. Haven't read it tho (yet).
