It really opens you eyes to the realities of the political system, doesn't it?

America is officially dead. This doesn't even come CLOSE to qualifying as emminant domain. I wish the ghosts of the framers would come back and replace the current supreme court so they could summarily execute 99% of our elceted officials and bitch slap everyone else for being so fucking stupid.

Yeah - the whole thing is fucked. There are no such things as liberals and consevatives any longer, at least not in any possitions of power. With VERY FEW notable exceptions the whole goddamned nightmare is one nation, under the almighty dollar, with liberty and justice for the rich.

I thought the patriot act was pushing things, but I was willing to live with it because it had a timelimit. This court decision is unacceptable, as is the Pentagon's new citizen recruiting database its creating comprised of 16-18 year olds and college students (gpa, majors, focus areas, etc). The only difference between the court decision and the pentagon database is that I expect that kind of behavior out of the DoD.

I do know one thing.. If I ever own land and they want to tear it down to build a Home Depot, I'll be laying down in front of the bulldozer like Arthur Dent

I heard about that DoD recruiting shit yesterday, it's fucking appalling. I lay the blame for this squarely on direct marketing assholes.

And you can be damn sure that if a goverment entity told me they were taking my land to build condos that they'd have to Randy Weaver my ass. :icon33: The sad thing is, they'd do it.

That's why I brought it up.. the decision and the DoD thing came out on the same day.

Oh and they'd Randy Weaver your ass for sure, but at least you'd make headlines
