You sound like the kind of driver that I purposely box in and block on the freeway. And people who tailgate should be beaten. There is nothing that pisses me off more than that - when I taught at the university, I'd have to drive there on the freeway, along with all the student commuters. Most of those dumbfucks would tailgate - and the kicker was they weren't doing it to be aggressive, they were doing it because they were clueless. No reason that someone else should have to be placed in direct risk because you are an impatient asshole.

Absolutely. People who tailgate drive me fucking mad when I'm behind the wheel, there's nothing more frustrating in a car than some prick driving right up my arse, sometimes so close that I can't even see behind me using my side mirrors. Arrrrrghhhh.

i try to drive nice a politely until someone fucks with me.

when someone gets too close i have a basic rule : the closer you get, the slower i go (until there is a chance for you to overtake me, at which point i floor it)

i have no problem with someone overtaking me, however im never going to be pushed into going faster than i want to.

That's exactly my way, maybe flashing the brake lights a bit too. I'm also quite happy to let a faster driver go by if he does it without getting close enough to look in my glovebox for 5 minutes before he overtakes.

Sadly with my last car (I don't have one now) I didn't have anywhere near enough oomph to stick my foot down when a tailgater tried to pass.

eeh if someone tailgates me they usually come right up at red-lights and such

when theyre that close, exhaust from my truck-thing lines up to their fresh air intake.

If you box me in, eventlually I will get out of the box and get in front of you, slow down a lot and when you try to pass me I will just go the same way as you. It really pisses people off :icon19:

Doesn't matter. Even if you did get out of the 'box', I'm in no hurry, and you'll be going just as slow as me, which must really be a pain knowing that you have the unstoppable power of an old Civic hatchback at your disposal.
