Fucking ROFL! Montoya just got black-flagged for exiting the pits while the safety car was going past. I hate that whiny prick.

Yup, tape delay. There's 4 laps left. Looks like Trulli's brake rotor exploded. Eep!

I guess I didn't remember, been a long time. I think it's cause I used to play Ayerton Senna's Super Monaco Grand Prix on the sega Gennesis.
I OWNED at that game too btw. Had the madonna car and could race any track without touching the break lol.

When they said this race was hard on brakes, they weren't fucking kidding.

ha, no kidding. that left rear was blazing and he's tending to a hot tire
so, NS, from what you know (or may not know) of Scott Speed, what are your impressions?

I'm hoping like hell that he's the next Mario Andretti. The guy's supposed to be one of the world's best in a kart, and Red Bull is throwing all their support behind him. He was turning some rather hot lap times at Cirque de Villenuevseesee or however you fucking spell it before the race and he's headed to a week of testing before the US GP.
On another positive note, I heard that a group of folks (didn't catch who they are) are trying to drum up support for another US GP, to be held in Vegas. If they can make a track of a quality similar to Indy, I think it would own. There's a much greater market for F1 in the US now than there has been in the past, as evidenced by Indy's fantastic attendance numbers.

well, i think that Speed would be good for the much needed attention of the US market, that's for sure.
yeah, supposedly he sprung a faster lap time than Coulthard and Klein on his FIRST run in an F1 car. i'm not sure how much of that is accurate, but if it is, it's very impressive.
A Vegas GP would be most excellent. a revival of the PHX street course wouldn't be so bad either.
either way, i agree with you that the US needs another circuit. i don't consider INDY to be a very good circuit at all. worst one out of the bunch if you ask me. Road America would have been so much better.

I don't care for the oval taint on the Indy circuit, but I was referring to the race as a whole. I think that there are better tracks as well, Watkins Glen come to mind, and the IRL folks already run there.
The Phoenix GP failed worse than a Honushi post, so I'd hope that they'd stay away from a revamp.
Ready to watch LeMans next weekend?

That would be bullshit sir.
The cars are so different that it would be near enough impossible
for him to get lap times within 10 seconds of those 2. Unless his
first run was about 8 hours long

i didn't make this stuff up man. Derek Daly said it and he apparently quoted someone FROM Red Bull. i know how different they are, i'm not an A-typical American. :icon33:

btw, i think Karthenian, or however you spell that Indian guy's name, should go. he's only there because of his nationality. he's good, but he's not F1 caliber.
