yeah be sure to learn how to stop properly. also, if you're not very athletic, be VERY careful with your ankles. nevermind how far up the skate boot goes. make sure you bind/lace those bastards REAL tight.

No but every roll of sticky tape gets called Sellotape, and every vacuum cleaner gets called a Hoover.
I wasn't impressed when my flatmate started calling his MP3 player an iPod though.

Nice buy man, rollerblading is fun and easy to master with a good pair of skates, looks like you got a good pair so you're all set.
I've had my Roces Streets for almost 10 years now, in my early 20's I used to manage a roller rink so I skated almost every day, the last few years I usually hit the park a few times durring the summer.
