That's funny, because 'err' and 'urr' are pronounced exactly the same, or rather they would be if 'urr' was a real word. If they're looking at you funny it's probably for some other reason, like you've got a zit on your nose or you're wearing a t-shirt that lists '10 things I like about cock'. If you possess such a t-shirt, I think the problem is solved.

Though I'm sure a bunch of you couldn't care less that it bugs me.

"oh lol go tell someone else cause i could care less omglol pwned"

Don't worry though; if your basic language skills are too primitive to understand what I'm saying, I won't use large words like "err."
Err isn't a large word. It isn't even an uncommon word. You're just pronouncing it like a bloody idiot.

We're not all cockney's but I get what you're saying. I won't stop using it though, it's no more absurd than saying "he's fucking bleeding" to use you example.
Guvnah

down here in the south (US) they use "yall" to refer to "you all".
ironicaly "yall" is so widely accepted down here, they look at you funny if you don't abreviate.

jesus christ, I hate when people misuse the word literally as well.
"It's literally raining cats and dogs outside"
no, trust me, it isn't.

What a stupid complaint. The modern equivalent doesn't work either if you're dumb enough to take it literally. "He's fucking angry" doesn't mean he's angry like someone having sex; "i'm fucking broke" doesn't mean i'm as broke as intercourse; "what a fucking joke" doesn't mean the joke pertained to the act of fucking in any way.
Find something concrete to whine about. "Bloody" predates your great grandparents as an expletive adjective/adverb, and there's nothing wrong with it.

No,d they aren't.
You don't pronouce "err" as "urr" when you use a term like "err on the side of caution."

If that were true, Duke's brother could say MURRRRRRR and MERRRRRRRR and mean two different things. But he can't.
