Yeah, the no power part sucks for sure. We've got an 11kw generator that can pretty much run the whole house. Our main concern now is that this storm stays far enough east. You don't really need power if you don't have a roof.

Im glad we dont have such badass-storms over here in germany. Not yet... :/
I saw some really shocking US-tornado and storm footage. Pure devastation, i dont trust in houses made of wood!
And i hate that pink-panther isolation stuff :D

The storm held a northern course when it came over the Bahamas which kept it far enough away. We didn't have any damage, just a bunch of branches and leaves in the yard. Amazingly enough, we didn't even lose power.

Well we did get some pretty high winds. So I think the shutters were necessary. Besides, it only takes a couple of hours to put them up.

Don't consult Geoff about preparedness, you'll end up with one nut. :alert:

That's okay zero, you go ahead and secure yourself a fairytale because marketing is successful. Peace be onto you, instead of tragedy blowing up in your face.

You know whether your name is zero, Xerox, clorox, or Soros, all but the last don't concern me .

'I want you to be very happy, it's very important to me that you're happy'
And
