Yeah, I got to a VW Mechanic for most of the things I'm hesitant to try, like brakes, rotors which I just had done and when I asked about the electrical issues he said I'd need a new blower motor, resistor and that it was going to be a pretty expensive job to fix. I'm kinda pissed because all he does is work on VW's, he should have known what's up or he did and he was just trying to fleece me. Either way my confidence in his abilities are pretty much null at this point and I still need to fix the emergency brake which I'm hesitant to try doing myself. Fixed a few of those to date, two specifically had no interior power to them and where unable to start due to the cluster not being able to report the anti-theft status ( immo )
