Was looking at the OnePlus 2 the other week but it has a few disadvantages i don't like... the most important one being that it uses that new charger noone has yet, which means you're basically sure to run out of juice at critical moments without being able to borrow one. Also: no IR port, no NFC, no quick charging, no wireless charging... and there's some other stuff which escapes me at the moment.
The price is great, but if you have more to spend on a phone you probably should.

I'm not really a fan of the S7 edge. The "edge" just looked weird to me

I agree, that's why I'm still with the OPO. so i recieved the sony yesterday and i only messed with it for about 15 mins
whoa! first impressions are fricken awesome!
really so much more and better than the samsung experience.
still early days obviosly but we shall see how well it fares over time.
really tho i suggest getting one in hand and giving it a go. ssoooo much nicer than what i am used to!

But consumer reports says the s7 edge is the best phone they have ever reviewed... Guess plained is having buyers remorse... Understandable...

Lot I hope Sony doest give up phones before I need a new one because as it stands now I'm going for Sony for now on

I don't know about Sony's future direction with their "x" lineup. The z5 is excellent, though my only gripes are the fingerprint reader doesn't work when my hands are wet and the camera is slow.
