I'll watch it tonight on my big screen.
nah, i saw it in Hartlepool VueDiscoDave wrote:Did you see it at the UGC?phantasmagoria wrote:I fucking loved it and will probably pay money to see it again.
The cheesyness was toned down, but not so much it was far too serious and over acted. The CGI was much much better (bar a few dodgy scenes) and the general feel of the film was much darker than ep1 and 2 which made the whole experiance much better.
I was expecting more of ep1 and ep2 and got much much more, far surpassing my expectations. I'd recommend this film to anyone. It's easily on par with and if not better than Return of the Jedi which i actually think was totally ruined by the fucking E-woks, who dispite popular opinion i thought were annoying little fuckers.
My only grudge is it could have had more Wookie battles in and introduced Chewbacca a little more, but i have a soft spot for Wookies, seeing as i resemble one and I could happily watched two and a half hours of none stop furry wookie action.
Go and see it :icon14:
but yes, fucking awesome movie, mate is even seeing it again today

aye, it was good but for some reason i still preferred the older ones and i still dont know why i do.....HM-PuFFNSTuFF wrote:not too bad. best of the modern 3 by a fair bit
hmmm, i was thinking more of the 1st (out of the older ones) i know i said 'the 1st lot' but tbh i cant remember much of the empire strikes back and return of the jedi, but even though it was a very very good film i still felt it was missing somethingphantasmagoria wrote:it owned the fuck out of Return of the Jedi
i have it already, but not watching it..stocktroll wrote:btw i heard rumors of a dvd quality source starting to circulate

Yoda was really awesome in 4 5 and 6, just because he was a puppet.losCHUNK wrote:also, did someone in here say they watched them all, including the original 1st 3 ?
if so what were they like ? was it manga/cartoon/puppet ?, were they any good?
ive been thinking of getting them but as i have no clue im thinking it will be a waste
There were no original first 3.losCHUNK wrote:not them 3 =P, the 1st 3

ooooo, i remember being told that the 1st 3 were made, just didnt know wether they were manga/puppet or whatnot, thought these 3 (1,2 and 3) were remakes of themWizard .3 wrote:There were no original first 3.losCHUNK wrote:not them 3 =P, the 1st 3
