Mance Rayder?
Yeah. Show-runner's say he's gone and not coming back.

Have you gone and spoiled this thing for yourself by downloading the leaked eps?
And by 'spoiled' you mean 'watched'? Yes. TV shows are different from wine. It's not like the episodes will get better if I let them rest in the internet for three more weeks.
I mean crap quality and thus a degraded experience

Aye, it's not like it's on shakey cam or anything. It's what you would've watched before HD and a lot of the time I'm watching SD anyway.

The only kick in the nuts is having to wait again, but I got to binge on GoT after waiting an age anyway :)

Book spoiler, little revealing fact from the show you're all probaly aware of -
I only found out that Tyrion is supposed to be dead at this point, I was curious as to how that would work cos that would mean he doesn't have much of an impact on the rest of the storylines, does that mean they write someone else out and give him their role ?.
Show spoiler upto ep4 and book spoiler -
Sansa is meant to be stuck in the carriage but it looks like they're building a storyline for her that has nothing to do with or is yet to be finished in the book series ?, wtf ?
Sansa's book storyline ends where season 4 left off so the show is heading into unknown territory with her.

Just spoilers
Ahh, I heard off a friend who heard off another friend that Tyrion never made it past the trial by combat, so would've died at the end of season 4 ?. We assumed he was taking over Varys role (killing Tywin / finding dragon lady)

Sansa I find interesting though, same mate told me but that is a big divert from the book, unless they reset her storyline after whatever they have planned is finished.
Nah, book Tyrion and show Tyrion are pretty much exact matches for the most part so far.

Agreed.

Do we really need to go through this again?

Uh? Everything is between spoiler tags...? Besides, on hindsight there's not even any spoiler in there because loschunk was incorrectly informed about something that already happened in the TV show.

Tyrion and Varys make a great couple. Have been so throughout the series.

So hey, when that one dude got his head chopped off and the crowd went 'HISSSS' that was pretty brilliant wasn't it?

I propose we adopt this tradition and proceed to hiss at politicians when they make unpopular decisions - jesus it's threatening as fuck.

It'd be a non-stop hiss if that was required

Couldn't they find a 90 year old, arthritis ridden actor to play the part instead?

I'm sure Ramsay Bolton is a tender, loving husband. Not quite the bride I expected him to get though...

Well either Sansa is gonna savagely murder every Bolton in her general vicinity or she's gonna cry some more. Quite liked Littlefingers speech to her, pretty much on point. In any case, judging from Theon's reaction she stirred something in him that he lost, i place seven gold coins on him helping her meet out some justice.

Oh and I'm sort of wondering about that Red Priestess the imp encountered; is supporting Dragon Lady official church dogma? Because if yes, what to make of Melisandre supporting Stannis? Is she playing a cunning spy game of some sort?

The Red priests / priestesses are always interesting, and I have a personal theory that while Melisandre has definite power, it doesn't come from the same source as as say Thoros' power.
I reckon she's actually been tricked and is really serving the darkness (whatever that may be), rather than the Lord of Light.

Hmm, interesting idea. Would kind of explain that kingslaying smoke monster she spawned way back when.

Ne bros think that the final fight scene was pretty lame? They've been good about avoiding film tropes, but the way the bad guys attacked one by one, and didn't bother finishing off spartan obama when they had tons of time was pretty weak. Not to mention the old man kills all those dudes in a lack luster manner while the bad ass tribe of dickless spartans got their shit stomped. I get that he was the best knight or whatever, but the way it played out was pretty crap

I agree. The fight didn't feel epic enough for a recurring character to die in (assuming either Grey Worm or Barristan Selmy actually is dead, because, hey, I don't know either!)
