I think they could name more than Avatar, r2d2, c3po, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Chewbacca would all be pretty unforgettable. But what about Aliens as a standalone film ?, they'd be able to appreciate more characters dying in the 1st encounter with the Aliens than that 1 main baddie through the entire of Avatar.

People would also be compelled to rewatch those films, which is part of their popularity, I think Avatar is already fading in peoples memories
