He asked for 3dMark results. Take your little toaster oven and leave this thread, polack.

Actually I didn't really notice much difference in the games I was playing. I know it's a good machine, but I dont know how good.
Mazda - quality score! I'll see if I can't get closer to you once I've played with over clocking

You'll see some decent gains from your 970 but I've never been a fan of the EVGA reference coolers and you might have to watch out for overheating. After the EVGA 580 I had, I'll always stick with MSI's Twin Frozr

Doesn't seem to work with SLI. Second card is running in 2D mode in the benchmark.

Nah - I am good for now. I know this is good enough to run most things well so I am happy. Maybe when I need to start OCing to keep up with stuff I will have a word with them about water cooling etc

Just snagged an Intel 530 series 480GB SSD for $270. NCIX sales are awesome.

I'd like a 960GB SSD so I could load all my Steam games on it...

CPU temps are crazy high under load. Going water cooled with a Coolmaster H80i

Ended up getting a H50 as that's all they had, but it's still like nothing I've ever used. Idle temps are 20+ degrees lower that with my previous cooling method. Mind blowing stuff.
I'll get a h100i before summer time to ensure it's as cool as it can be.

I've never used watercooling. I bought a Noctua NH-D14 that keeps CPU temps ~60-65C on full load. Idle is 40 on an i7 OCed from 2.8 to 4.0GHz

i7's run much much cooler than the FX 9590. Check out the power usage on the thing....

I love Noctua products, can't recommend them enough.

Ordered an Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark2, i7 4790K and Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8GB 2133 RAM. I'll see how well it runs before I try OCing the 4790K, but temperature-wise it should be close to what I have with the i7 930. Bonus is that my Noctua cooler will fit LGA1150.

Just ordered a Corsair Obsidian 550D case for te quiet running goodness after I tested this current box and it churns out 54dbs of sound at 5 feet and 68dbs from 3 inches. No more of that, thank you

I was looking at that but I'm not a fan of the office cabinet look of the Obsidian series. I went for the Graphite 780T instead and love it.
Super quiet at full speed, but that also has a lot to do with the components inside. The built-in fan controller is great because I can set it to the lowest speed at the touch of a button if I'm torrenting. Really easy to clean thanks to the removable dust filters, but it also stays a lot cleaner than my Coolermaster HAF 932 ever did. That thing was a dust magnet.
