oh, well, MSR wasn't lacking speed as i recall. that's too bad.
also, MKJ, i hope you were using the bumper or nose cam, not a behind the car cam. there is no realization of speed at that angle in any game. truth.

i -always- use bumpercame. easier to anticipate sharp turns that way

If I had a steering wheel I would use the driver's cam but I can control the car better with a chase cam.

Never played Burnout 3, I take it? Or any of the Wip3out games, for that matter.

Never played Burnout 3, I take it? Or any of the Wip3out games, for that matter.
wipeout was great for the speed in that angle, but it's not a car. none of the car games give me that speed rush without a nose/ground cam. burnout3? didn't care for it. a rental at best.

even wipeout and burnout should be played from nosecam dammit. ups the speeds even more and helps more with 90 degree turns

you can change the direction of the nose, rite. reduces bouncing and increases your speed
