Re: Minivan or SUV?
After Driving both the Odysey and the Pilot the clear choice was the Pilot. While the odysey has all the awesome features for the passengers they screw over the driver. When you open the driver door you are greeted with a isolated leather office chair with dinky arm rests. The concole is below the butt level and the door is pretty far away. The Pilot on the other hand has a nice large seat surrounded by a large console to lean on as well as a soft padded arm rest in the door. We make a few 8 - 10 hour drives every year as well as many smaller 2-3 hour trips the Pilot was the way to go.
I have 2 kids and on occasion need the extra space for additional passengers. If I had or was planning to have more kids I would have suffered with the odyssey, but the pilot is huge and comfortable even for up to 8 tall people even in the 3rd row so I was sold.

useless... Cramped... further proof you sir are misinformed
Re: Minivan or SUV?
How tall are you? I'm 6'3" and the Odyssey driver seat and armrests are positioned fine. I don't have a 2013 though, maybe they changed it.
A van is overkill for family of 4. The Pilot looks nice.

Re: Minivan or SUV?

Re: Minivan or SUV?
not sure where you are getting your info from my 6' tall wife was using the 3rd row for privacy when feeding our son this weekend no issues getting in, out or using the space. My 5 year old claimed the third row as her space freeing up room for 2 full sized US adults (by US I mean overweight of course) on each side of the center mounted 2nd row car seat.scared? wrote:as long as u dont plan on ever using the back seat i guess the pilot is fine...but wtf is there a 3rd row seat at all? have u tried even getting back there? its stoopid...
I'm thinking you may be relating to older Pilots without the new seat configuration?

Maybe if your wife wasn't a massive whale and your children weren't morbidly obese they wouldn't find it impossible to fit in a vehicle that normal people have no problem with.
