Why is a guy who doesn't even own an iPhone informing you of features that have been available since iOS5? rofl.

Google's cloud music lets you download songs for offline play so there's that, but really itunes isn't as bad as it used to be.

Umm... no. iTunes uses the same ID3 tags as any other program. My music is tagged with MP3Tag and drag-and-dropped into iTunes, works fine for me.

I'm not disputing that, I'm saying my tags are shit and don't show up well in iTunes so I need to go and edit them

In that case, try this:

Advanced > Get Track Names

It doesn't always do the best job, but it's a good start.
