And suck in bands that have overstayed their welcome.
Just kidding, well kind of. I loved Soundgarden in the 90's.
But don't you just get a bit cringy seeing them rehashing shit in the 2010's?
A bit like Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, still pouting and strutting, where a carefully and forcefully placed pillow in their sleep 20 years ago would have made for so much more meaningful reminiscing nowadays.
What? If bands that were active in the 90s arent allowed to release new material in 2012 and onward, then there's not a lot of bands I can listen to anymore. Stop listening to your one-day-fly MTV crap and start investing time in more durable bands and artists.

Skrillex is playing at a club here tonight. I'd go, but my boss is a faggot.

Don, you triggered me to listen to some Soundgarden so I put up Superunknown on Spotify. Before I knew it, I had blazed through Badmotorfiger and Louder Than Love as well. Good stuff. Wasn't aware they had such raw power on their (earlier) albums.
I had given Superunknown a listen in the past, but it sounds really soft and (over)produced compared to their earlier work.

Their early stuff is where it's at. Slaves and Bulldozers is possibly my favourite song by them. So much passion and anger in that song.

Have you listened to any of Chris Cornell's solo stuff? It may be the worst music ever created.

Not listened to Cornells stuff on his own in fairness, just Soundgarden and Audioslave
GFY - I have heard plenty worse. In fact that actually reminds me of The Doors when Morrison went on one of his little moments

Yeah not sure what Cornell and Timbaland were doing collaborating. It's two different worlds that should've been kept apart.
