You must've not read the part were I said I have the same awesome blue cross coverage as you. I pay about $4k a year for $15 copay everywhere an no copay at minute-clinics. Didn't even cross our mind we would be out of network going to some clinic in the next state over. Don't kid yourself. Our healthcare system is fucked up.
I'm pretty sure we can have the same provider, but different plans...

Yeah, I'm sure you have that plan that covers all the places not in the BCBS NETWORK. Please stop talking now.

Health insurance in the US is dry anal rape unless you work for a huge company. Then at least your monthly premiums are dirt cheap, unless, as shaft pointed out, you go out of network. Then you can just grab your ankles.

I'll wager that most Americans base their knowledge of foreign health care on what "a friend of a friend" told them, or FAUX News.

We're a small company with a few people making heavy use of the plan so the premiums are starting to suck. I'm up to $120 a month for single coverage. Family coverage is nearly $500.

Yup, it's always those same retarded anecdotes followed by stories of people paying a premium to come to the USA for treatment.

well of course they go to the US for treatment. people who live in countries with public healthcare systems don't like foreigners who haven't contributed any taxes getting free treatment
