You're on to a losing battle here SOAPboy.
I'm convinced the game's great; U4EA's convinced the game's great; Memphis is convinced the game's great; Chunk's convinced the game's great; Pauly's convinced the game's great.

The online reviews I've seen have all been marking it 9.0 or above.
You may dislike it yourself, but there's absolutely no point whatsoever in trying to persuade us otherwise.

Shame you're so close-minded about this.
Exactly how much of the game have you played anyway?

Since closed beta..

And sadly, when first closed beta happened, the game was really fun.. but it wore off fast after they changed things...

"Since closed beta" doesn't tell us anything. Did you play one event, or did you play all the events?
Have you played it since release?
Details man, details...

Let alone which, the only "Closed Beta" events were the last 2.

No no no, closed beta, before the engine switch.. lmfao..

and i played almost every event up until i dunno a month or so ago, then played the final 2 again..

no, i havent played release, they added cutscenes and such, and the PvE is the same..

I personally, play MMO and MMO type games for the PvE, not the PVP, and honestly, i dont like never being able to meet people outside of towns.. it sucks having to find crappy pickup groups for stuff while sitting in town when i could just be out doing something then MAYBE meet up with someone whos trying to kill that same boss..

*shrug.

For the folks who are enjoying it, pop over to my forums: http://www.fender.net/forums/viewforum.php?f=5
We organize missions and trade items etc. Just so we don't clutter up GD here with too many GW topics.

Its incredible. I never played a really good RPG/MMO type game before, and I must say its very, very good. I got myself the collectors edition, and the artwork book and the soundtrack are definate keepers too.

My name in GW is Sylveth Duath by the way.

It's quite possibly the most addictive game I have played. It's also the ONLY game ever, where I actually like starting again with different characters.

In every game of this type going through all the beginning shit again is a chore, but in this game it isn't at all.

This game gets the Pauly seal of approval.

hmm....if pauly says it's great

*checks*

btw, saw a supanerd buying a big box with Guild Wars all over it in a store today. Tall, pale, skinny guy with a black trenchcoat. He talked like Michael Jackson, in a high-pitched feminine gay way. Somehow I had to think about Soapboy and I never think about Quake3world outside my room.
