Am I the only person that got tired of zombies after everybody were creaming their pants over CoD: WaW zombies and L4D?

Hell even before that I was already getting tired of them. Counterstrike zombie mods were retarded.

Give me biological experiments, giant robots, or something supernatural like demons and spirits that posses your buddies.

CoD zombie modes are shit, anyone with half a mind can see that. Left 4 Dead on the other hand was a completely new style of gameplay and it sounds like Dead Island might take it to a whole new level.

There's zombies and there's zombies. The fast moving, jumping and climbing zombies of L4D are something quite different from the slow moving, lurching zombies of Resident Evil.
I think someone should make an interesting game with the lurching type of zombie again.

I think we are LONG over due for an open world zombie game an can't believe its not been done. You can say "semi done" in Dead Rising 1/2 and even there it was retardedly fun at times... You can't really compare the WAW/BO/L4D/RE zombies with what they are trying to do here, as its just so different.

I do hope there are more than 5 zombie variations in the game... Its called tagging you lazy shits, sort it out...
