If I swear at someone by typing on a forum, then my attitude is obviously hostile. If I praise someone, it's obviously a positive one. If I make uninformed, ignorant posts while blatantly ignoring the advice of others, do you honestly still think we can't tell a person's attitude over text?

The latter is basically how you are perceived by your online attitude on this forum. You write completely uninformed and ignorant comments (in this case something about Autodesk being greedy for charging money for Maya). You have also ignored a bunch of people who have generally tried to help you in your map threads. For example, multiple people have said that your first map was too dark and that you should increase the brightness and you replied that your monitor was fine, implying that everyone else is wrong. Why should we help you if you ignore us? Why bother posting here at all? Go start a blog instead if you just want to write random stuff.

Don't backtrack and say that you weren't talking about Maya and that you were referring to image converters (which is just as ignorant of a comment as the original one). It's exactly what you said, "I was referring to the Maya program." Don't flop back and forth and pretend we don't know how to read and you weren't at fault. You said something incredibly stupid and pretending you were talking about something else doesn't make you appear any brighter. Use your brain before you post next time and maybe people will respect you more.
