SOA is not disappointing so far.

Also, saw boardwalk empire's first ep yesterday, seemed to have potential but we were drinking and by the end of it we were distracted.

So the last episode leads me to believe some serious shit will be hitting the fan by the end of the season, if not very soon.

Jax is gonna fuck Eddie's shit up.

It is a bit weird not having all the f-bombs you'd expect to be there. But they go pretty far over the edge for a cable show. I'm surprised they were allowed to do the IRA torture scene.

I think there's a lot that can be done while the club is locked up. There's so many sub-plots going on that the writers won't want for material, and the fans won't find it ridiculous, either. Zobel will definitely be making a return at some point, there's the new war with the Russians over the double-cross the get Jimmy (fuck any of you that haven't watched it at this point), the douchebag mayoral candidate (GET A FUCKING HAIRCUT YOU SLIMY FUCKING HIPPIE) to be dealt with, and a ton of other stuff happening.
The great thing is that the writers are so talented and the characters so well developed and believable, it will take years for them to run out of great plots. As long as FX keeps picking up the show, I don't see it going downhill for quite some time, like another series I could mention. Yeah Rescue Me, I'm looking at you.
