joe was a big quake fan back in the late 90's. My first time playing quake3 was with him on his private server. Not sure if he still plays it though.

Yeah dunno if he still plays but yeah he was a cool guy, played with emelio Esteves (sp?) a few times too.

My vote would have to be for Viruseater though, that guy's a tool. Or myself cause I'm pretty weird too.

Yeah, I played with Joe a couple times on his server and even participated in a discussion with him on his forums. Although they didn't like the porn I posted, so I didn't last long there. It wasn't hardcore enough for them (seriously).

But VE really fuct him over. I remember Joe being super pissed...

but , He also gave a place to hang out while quake3world was on holidays, he gave us a server to play on and he did help with tech support.
So actually he tried.
personally he cost me money when i rented a server from him, He said before i could get the server going he had to call me and help me set it up.
So i took the day off and waited for a call that never came.
Next day i took the day off and again he did not call. Later in the evening i got a story about a dead dog and that the next day he would call.
I took a 3rd day off and a stranger called me at 3pm and I finally got my server.
The server was so slow connection wise i
only kept it for a month.
I found a faster host and at a cheaper cost and that became the other Quake3World server.
3 days off waiting for a phone call from VirusEater
