Add Vanquish to the list. The demo's just come out on XBL & PSN and is ridiculously OTT. feedback, if you're paying attention, this is from the same guys who brought us Viewtiful Joe, and it would appear to be just as awesome.
would like to express my wild enthusiasm about that zombie series once more. Holy fuck that clip owns, sort of what they should have done with the World War Z book.
You know it's based on a comic book, right Ryoki?
It's utterly awesome too.
The zombies in The Walking Dead do differ from those in both WWZ and Romero's movies mind you. When people die, no matter if they're infected or not, they re-animate unless the brain is destroyed.
I'll be interested to see if they attempt some of the darker stuff from the comics, Michonne's Governor story in particular, as well as the twin girls. I can't see that getting past the network, no siree.

aye, there's plenty in there that i'm not sure i'd want to see on tv - and it is the most awesome comic ever.
thing that has me worried is the casting for rick - they've got that shitehouse from "this life" (90's uk tv series by/for softhanded metrosexuals). his accent sounds pretty awful in that promo, hopefully he'll grow into it.

I thought it was, but I couldn't quite believe they'd cast a Brit in such a critical role! Egg, isn't it?
Regarding Michonne's story, as you say, I'm not sure I'd want to see it on TV, as it shocked me even in comic book form, but it's also an incredibly critical plot-line for all characters, let alone Michonne; dampening the impact would remove an awful lot of meaning.
