hoof, hoof... cant understand why rooneys dropping so deep, and losing so much of the ball, should score in a min

good draw, was hoping for something a bit more special from the english though, think fabio cocked up the tactics but plenty of time to tinker

Local cable here was constantly getting signal drops where you'd lose a 1/2 sec of audio and the video would cube and fuck up. Good to know we're fucked all over.

there was a thread, its gunna get used

, and the US looked quick on the counter, caused Englands slow back line a few things to think about, gunna need to raise your game if youre gunna get anywhere, a team like Argentina / Spain will laugh you off the pitch

I don't know why? The USA went 2 - 0 up against Brazil in the confederations cup...they are hardly a push over

^ not according to the usual post-match analysis, which is busy slamming england
in fact, we didn't play too well in the first half (in spite of the goal), and USA had most of the possession, but in the second half we spent most of time pinning them back, though there weren't that many solid efforts. if green hadn't fucked up a 1-0 would have been entirely just. USA weren't exactly a danger, but they defended well enough

lol what. they were skinning us on the wings, made our defence look very shaky. we even had to pull milner off to cope.

"It exposed a glaring lack of pace in England's central defence, which was almost punished when Jozy Altidore raced past Jamie Carragher with embarrassing ease only for Green to apply some repairs to his shattered reputation by turning his shot on to the post."

only to lose ?

, they done spain 2-0 in a friendly though

... the US are far from shit but if the US done that against a lot of teams in the tournament then theyd pay for it, they were leaving acres of space but England couldnt do anything to exploit it because they couldnt string a few passes together or cope with the counters that resulted from losing the ball.
Im expecting Barry to return and fix all problems, guard the back 4 and hold the ball up in the middle of the park, playing 442 without a sitting midfielder, especially with players like gerrard and lampard in the middle of the park that really cant hold position is a bit thick imo and playing SWP and Milner ahead of joe cole is even more retarded because either couldnt pass water, put gerrard behind torres (or rooney), drop heskey even though he had a good game and have SWP / Lennon and Cole stretching the play for the 2 front men to exploit... simples !
...............Green
Glen, Carra / King, Terry, A Hole
.........Barry, Lampard
......SWP, Gerrard, J Cole
..............Rooney
i reckon thatll do it

, losing Rio for you lot was a much bigger problem than i realised

and if rooney starts playing diamonds in midfield again id drop the prick for Defoe

I think your team is flawed.
Should be:
................Green
Johnson...Terry...Dawson...Cashley
J Cole....Barry....Lampard....SWP
.............Gerrard
........................Rooney

well mine can turn into 4411 easily, just like yours can go 4231 so were on the same page :]
i think dawson shouldnt be anywhere near the starting line though, but it would probaly be worth the risk to see how he does considering the options. id try sticking with king if hes still fit and if not try carra with barry again, failing that it has to be him :]
not sure between lennon and SWP n all, probaly be better with lennon but ive always rated SWP even though his passing is suspect, and i think keeping green between the sticks is a must
