BBC1 now: Argentina v Nigeria
Followed by BBC2 5pm Canadian Grand Prix qualifying
Followed by ITV England v USA.

Argentina look good. I would rather England won the World Cup rather than Maradonna get his fat greasy hands on that trophie again. I like the Argentina team, but I detest Maradonna

going back to france/uruguay: i'd forgotten diego forlan even existed. last time i heard of him he was famous at manyoo for never ever scoring

Also, i'm not overly impressed by Argentina to be honest. Thought they were widely considered the strongest team..? They're missing some killer instinct today or something, i don't know.

Serbia vs Ghana is shaping up nicely though - first real good game so far. None of the first match nerves you would expect. I expect to see a red card in this match as well sooner rather than later
