Portal's update mystery

It's fun so far, I'm only in the beginning of the game but I did see footage of a guy shooting at a mammoth sized alien looking thing that seemed to just be walking by, looked insanely huge to me anyway. So far all I've been shooting at is dogs and hockey mask wearing freaks but I'm still very early in the game. The atmosphere and story so far reminds me of Fallout 3 a bit.

Coming this holiday. Portal 2 is the sequel to 2007's Game of the Year and draws from the award-winning formula of innovative game play, story, and music that earned the original over 70 industry accolades. I wonder if we get to wear a red cap and blue overalls.

Perhaps most interestingly, there's even a range of paints that change surface friction and behaviour, which you can distribute through careful portal use. For example, you can paint the floor orange to increase the speed you move over it.

gotta play it before one can pass judgment, ofcourse, but they gotta be careful not to introduce too many new elements.
part of its strength is its simplicity in concept.
