shaft wrote:Really though...for you people who have over 50? How many times do you watch a dvd to consider you got your money's worth. If you bought it...i take it you saw it before you spent the 25bucks, you watch it after you get it..and how many times after that? Has to pretty a pretty damn good movie for me to plan on watching it over 3 times. The movies I do own I probably watch about once every 2 years. Owning 100+ Dvd's, thats alot of time on the couch.
Its like music cd's. Sometimes I purchase them to support the artists, sometimes I watch them regularly.

I only buy DVD's that I like. As a result, whenever I'm bored, I pop one in and watch myself a movie. I have some DVD's that I've watched so much, I'm surprised they still work.

edit: I own about over 50 (0 burned). Every pay check I generally pick up 1.

I dunno. There are a lot of good movies out there. Depends on how much you are paying for them... If it worth it or not. Etc.

no, i don't go to the theater. i buy them first week they're released if the reviews are good. i'm happy with >80% of my purchases which is more than people can say for their experiences with movies at the theater. so actually, i've at LEAST come out even or even saved money in that respect.

I haven't been to a theater in close to 10 years.

We usually have around 30 or 40 at a time. They get watched several times. The ones we get tired of get sold.

Haven't bought any in ages (except for LOTR). I rather go to the cinema, or rent them. I don't download.
