I think you hit the nail on the head by saying Beyoncé has a good voice but that it's wasted. That's exactly the thing I'm miffed about. I won't deny that she has a good voice and is a good singer, but why oh why does she continue to produce crap like this? The reason is probably because the commercial engine behind her decides what she should do, what she should sing, what she should say, how she should dress and how she should dance. If she'd break free of the commercial nonsense, she'd probably be a far more respectable singer than she is now. Right now, she's a great entertainer, just like Britney Spears was in her "good days". It's just that if Beyoncé tried to do something "real", something that comes from her heart and not from a dollar hungry songwriter's head, then she'd shine, I'm sure of that. So far, I just haven't seen much of that yet.

Wow, that's the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. All great influential artists are signed with record companies as well, so they are very much part of that very same music industry, yet they make music without the need to flaunt their titties (if present).
