tl;dr: Friend helped me move the bike, made a twitchy move on it, and a cop pulled him over for being reckless or unstable or something. Impounded my bike, since I wasn't able to ride it away.

shoud have rented a uhaul truck for 50 bucks
they have a ramp and a way to secure it while its in there

I've had insurance, since it's required to transfer titles. I got it out of lockup today and moved it properly. Now my friend has to deal with a ticket. D:
