what are you gonna do, sit 20 feet away from yer screen?
its not like the cables take up enormous amounts of desktopspace or anything.
also you dont need any batteries

I clutter my desk, so cords get caught on my mouse.. hense i went wireless.. and tbh, its just as responsive as any of my corded mice have been.. MX700 FTW

For me, the main reason for getting a cordless mouse was to prevent the wire getting caught on stuff, that can really affect your aim and whatnot. I'd never get a wireless keyboard.

Well, my desk is about 4 feet away from my bed and we all know how cool it is to sit in bed all warm and wrapped up while playing on the old box.
I can do it with my mouse/keyboard, but my keyboard JUST doesn't fit for comfort...
Anyways, my mx700 rocks, i charge it when im not using it, had it ages and the life is stil lfantastic. Never had any problems with it.
But from what your saying, I may look away from a wireless one and just get a light up one instead with my case... I'm sure you can get extension cables or something, so that will do really.
Also, kracus, you CAN get wireless keyboards from logitech. I was asking if anybody knew about a place that sold them by themselves. I can only ever find "desktop packs" with both the mouse and keyboard

unfortunately, not. if i run in full screen mode, it stretches the image. if i run in window mode, it works fine (but i want to utilize the whole screen)
