The one with Dolph was just retarded. The one with Jane was pretty awesome. I didn't think they botched the origin so much as retold it in a pretty awesome manner. Who cares that they weren't gunned down in Central Park itself?
Also, Punisher has the same build as Wolverine, and Jane is about the same size as Hugh Jackman, so I wasn't too fussed. I just loved the idea of a movie from 2004 that intentionally didn't use any CGI at all.
The new Hulk movie
Re: The new Hulk movie
I liked Punisher too but I understand why a lot of people wouldn't find it too appealing. I'm not looking forward to the new one though. Thomas Jane is an enormous Punisher fan and backed out of the project because he felt the script was completely retarded and un-punisher like.
Also the new guy looks like Steven Seagal and that's not good for anyone.

These days Seagal looks like he's been lying at the bottom of a river for a week

Re: The new Hulk movie
I've heard that Norton won't be promoting the new Hulk film because of creative differences. Apparently somebody promised him that he would have a lot of input on the final cut of the movie (for some reason), and now he isn't getting as much input as he thought.
From everything I've read/heard about Norton, he seems like a great guy (and great actor, to boot), so maybe his input would be a good thing. But as far as I'm aware he's never really written anything before -- so why would Marvel Studios promise something like that anyway?

Have you seen the extended version? The extra scenes weren't overkill and they show who actually double-crossed him and got his family killed.Turing wrote:The one with Dolph was just retarded. no, you're correct.
Re: The new Hulk movie
Just gone through all the "ultimate" series of comics (god bless cbr) and can't wait for Avengers
Even stayed 10mins after the end of Iron Man to see Sam J strut his stuff as the big man... fucking awesome.
