This is not science. I can't prove a creator started the Big Bang, nor can I prove that a creator exists at all. That is why I call it a belief, and not science. I would never want intelligent design taught in schools because then we no longer have separation of church and state. We'd have religion being taught in schools, where it has no place. The people who want intelligent design taught in schools are trying to pass off religion as science, and in the end are trying to prove something that will probably never be proven.morons wrote:intelligent design
Evolution and ID can't be compared at all, because evolution is based on scientific fact (evolution IS a scientific fact) and ID is based on faith.
Ultimately, creationist views shouldn't be in textbooks because it is an exclusionist view rather than an inclusionist one. Anything which does not hold itself open to review is not worth being taught in the classroom.
