it's actually the best mini dv cam you can get in a reasonable price range. They run $6000 cdn. They are fantastic though. Sony makes an excellent mini dv cam for around half that price.

really looks awesome btw, if id buy an expensive cam, id definitely buy that one

well reasonable if you were say wanting to make an independent film (yes it's digital video not film but it can emulate film or you can do that in post production.) It looks amazing.
Your home made porn films will never look better.
