Okay, this reminds me far too much of a story someone posted a pretty long time ago. I don't know if someone remembers it, but it was an audio file in which some sort writer or something (I really can't remember) told a story about all kinds of really gross things, and one of them was his (fictional) experience of being sucked into the drain of a pool and his intestines being sucked out.
Another bit I rember from it is deriving sexual pleasure from sticking a piece of candlewax in his dick (don't ask me why I remember that bit as well).

Several states have passed pool-safety laws after children drowned or were disemboweled by drain suction. North Carolina, for instance, requires pools to have dual drains to diffuse the force of the suction and prevent children from being trapped.

that'd be guts, by chuck palahniuk. Apparently based on a true story involving a friend of chuck's. In that story, i think the pool was full so he almost drowned.
