Exactly. Couldnt of been said better.bitWISE wrote:SSX games are always fun but after you've played one you've played them all. If you don't own any other SSX games then I suppose it wouldn't be a bad purchase.Iccy wrote:Why? I been hearing SSX is pretty good.SOAPboy wrote:Guitar hero. Oh skip SSX btw.
i imagine it has something to do with the multiple threads you've created:Iccy wrote:I remember when i was a kid i used to get into drawing on the dirt and just off in my little world being who i was. Turns out i was smarter, faster more athletic then everyone around me in every school i was in. Meaning my immediate classmates, not the whole school. Though i broke record left and right all through school and got the medals and trophies still to prove it. I always wondered why other people felt the need to fuck with me when i was drawing in the dirt by coming and kicking it. Or just bothering me in general.
I bet you guys can tell me. Got a clue? Fear of something not like them? Or maybe its a need to shit on another person to make them feel good about themselves? Rejection of something they deem less then themselves elevated them in their delusional minds to a higher level then they though i was on?
I dont know i cant wrap my mind around a need to insult and pick on other people without provocation. Im more of a protector of people then a instigator of negativity. At least i try my best to be.
But hey, thnx for sticking to the topic and helping my love for anything in a world loveless grow, you were such a help here.
Puzzle Quest and Guitar hero it is
to dismissing concerns by others (e.g. tnf/feedback) about how mercurial people are about keeping up with this stuff.Iccy wrote:you can do it Tsakali.
Thing is, it really is a life style change. A key mantra i remember is less sugar. Sure things arent as sweet and i miss stuff, but you can eat that stuff still, just less if it, make it a rare treat, the rarer the better. Get off the computer and off the chairs. Make dinner for yourself, the acts of walking around the kitchen and making good low fat healthy meals are the win.
Try to find something in the exercise that is fun. To me running is turning into this like moving meditation. I find it fascinating how my mindset affects my body. If im running and think of something heavy, the road is harder to run, if i jump of it and simply suck it up the run is easier, pacing has revieled itself to me too, i extened my run by huge amounts when i learned that if i just slow down a hair, i can run much longer.
Lastly, there is no real way around this, but find what works for you. Biking might be right for joe and weights might be good for tnf and jules, but maybe running is your nitch or swimming, i dont know.
I like to run and swim mostly cause i surf and its cross training for it, so there is a underlying motivation that pushes me. Ill be adding some strength again in 2 weeks at which time im sure my shoulder will be close enough to start on controled training, but its obvious that agility is what grabs me and stamina, hence biking running swimming. And Wii sports =x
Good luck mate, if nothing else make sure you do SOMETHING, anything daily, even if its half of what you normaly do.
i like that phrase. i might start using it if you dont mind.+JuggerNaut+ wrote:your gears are constantly turning, but your wheels are just spinning.

We were talking about people like him in our aging and exercise class, when sometimes people are idiots and think a test they took a long time ago means they are fit enough to not have to exercise.Tormentius wrote:By the looks of what you've posted here those days a looong way behind you.Iccy wrote:Turns out i was smarter, faster more athletic then everyone around me in every school i was in.
You make a habit of asking for advice and then when people put out the effort to give good answers you ignore it. To be honest, you seem like the type of person who just refuses to stick with a plan and accomplish much of anything (workouts, steady work in your field, etc). Maybe if you learned some discipline, took some good advice to heart, and dropped the hippy"hey bro, lets all sing kumbaya and get along" shit people wouldn't give you such a hard time.
