not by itself as far as I know (not visually through the menu anyway). But hell, it can't even differentiate between Q3 and UrT, so I just look for it in the server's name.
But when you add the filters for ASE as mentioned in the FAQ I linked to, you can connect to any server without running into problems, ASE will see what to start anyway when you connect to a server

Yeah well you can't play anything non-stop for days without getting bored.

there's enough difference in guns, just try the sr8 :smirk:

cant make the guns too different or else everybody would be using the strongest gun, simple as that ey

There's something incredibly loathsome I find about "realistic shooters". Apparently I used to like playing CS, but if I play now all I get is just this swelling rage at how un-fun everything about it is. Urban Terror is about as real as I find still fun. Don't think I've played anything as fun as Action Quake 2 yet.

yeah, mo it has always been the perfect between fun and realism. FPS realism makes for slow gameplay, which I find utterly boring
